and never free whats happening
the blade behind the ivory’s
it’s thirsty, but don’t let it sing
or shed the sheath and
swing watch it cut her at the knees
it’s thirsty but don’t let it sing or let it drink
she’s singing the sweetest songs
and she wants me to sing along
but I keep my teeth
the blade behind the ivory’s
it’s thirsty but it won’t sing
now the sheath is sweltering
and a blade won’t sleep until sings
it’s thirsting
but I keep my teeth
I keep my teeth
yea I keep my teeth
oh I keep my teeth
separate your cage
dethrone your fetid king
separate your skin for the growth
stitch the wound or it wont ever close
it’s all easier said then done
a pound of flesh tastes second to none
and I can smell her sweet skin
so maybe just a little taste
and I’ll be back on my way
swear I’ll never eat again
so why the growing appetite if I can’t feast upon the night?
I’m thirsty
if I can’t can’t fill my glass in light
was I given the wrong advice?
was I given the wrong advice?
she’s singing the sweetest songs
and she wants me to sing along
but when I do it comes out double speak
and she eats every single word I preach
she’s singing the sweetest songs
and she wants me to sing along
but when I do it comes out double speak
and she eats every single word I preach

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Supplementing sasscore insanity with bolstered vocals and pop-punk songcraft, the California band are kicking ass and breaking boundaries. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 21, 2024
